Our residents notice the effects of our family-run business every day. It shows through the care that we give to each individual who walks through the door. We have a strong set of values that shows through the care we provide. The families of our residents can feel comfortable knowing that we treat their loved ones just like family: in fact, several of our employees have relatives at Byron Center Manor.
In 1989, Ron and Johanne Cook opened Byron Center Manor Independent Living to create a home for Johanne’s mother, Jean Gibson. When she needed a higher level of care, they opened the Assisted Living neighborhood. Eventually, Johanne was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at a young age, and Ron built a new Memory Care facility to help care for her. The Cook family has managed Byron Center Manor since it opened three decades ago.
Byron Center Manor has several advantages over other corporate-owned retirement facilities due to our family atmosphere. If you’d like to learn more about finding a home for your loved one, contact us or give us a call.
